| We are a Family of Sport Bred Golden Retrievers who share a home in Galveston County, Texas with a Mom who is a work-from-home Architect, as well as full time Trainer, Handler, Concierge, Chauffeur, Accounts Payable and Media Staff. Love, Care, Communication and Mischief are the core values of our Family. We welcome each morning with a burst of energy, exuberant salutations as we sing the anthem of our people. With equal contentment, we close our days with evening perimeter patrols, quiet play and chew time and cuddles with Mom. If we’re quiet about it, the Warren will often allow a low key game of bitey face. Soon, sleep comes easy as we quiet our bodies and dream of tomorrow’s potential.  | Retrieving is Life. All day, everyday, we are on the ready… Ask us to find and get ‘that thing’ and bring it to you… or take it somewhere… to our kennel, to a place, to the house. It matters not where… Our joy is in the retrieve and praise is often sufficient reward… though we do also appreciate tasty tips…. aka treats!!! Bumper retrieves are the best reward for a good day of training. Running fast and efficiently, returning to heel position, delivering the bumper to the Handler’s hands is our Passion… while eagerly panting, “Throw it again. Throw it again!”. We also love this game to take the early morning edge off of a competition day… or a day when time is short, and we just need exercise. When time allows, we love it when The Handler hides blind bumpers and incorporates that element into our game. AddehWATER to t retrieve… or a hundred! |
| Water is Life! We love puddles and ponds, lakes and beaches (*baths, not so much!). We love to swim… and water retrieves are Our Happy Place. And We Love Dock Diving! It combines four of our very favorite things… Water, Swimming, Bumpers and Retrieving. We’ve never taken lessons, so we’re not very competitive. [21′-6″ for Dasher]… but nobody is more enthusiastic than us!!! |  |
 | Our Natural Prance! Heel! Not many dogs love to heel, but it’s one of Dasher’s favorite skills, and we see the passion in his offspring. Enthusiasm, Restraint, Focus and Position are the key skills. The prance is genetic. So is enthusiasm! Many other genetic tendencies like forging and wrapping must be worked… Our Heeling Style is fun to watch and it comes natural to us, but we always hope AKC Judges will appreciate our prance! |
| Wanna Train? Always willing and happy, these guys are consistently ready. Any hint like the Mom/Handler changing her shoes or the crinkle of a treat bag, and the Wright Bros are on high alert. Try to sneak training gear to the car… or the gear wagon out to the yard or field… a huge hullabaloo ensues! Pictured here is Buzz, in a pause between exercises, as we train with our Coach. These are our favorite days, and Happiness reads like a billboard across his sweet face. There is nothing better than working hard, learning a lot… and going home with honest evaluations, new challenges and forward directions. This means growth! Our current focus is AKC Obedience. Quick learners, our focus is on details and accuracy. Speed is rarely the issue! Though father and son, Dasher and Buzz have some differences in personality and learning styles, which make for interesting challenges and much growth and development for the Trainer.  | Night Time is Buzz Time. We dedicate our evenings to teaching a two year old with ants in his pants… how to relax and just “bee”. I find it humorous when Dasher looks at me with those eyes that say… “this Buzz puppy thing was your idea. what were you thinking???!”. But then Dasher is also a quiet bitey-face instigator, so… They enjoy toy time and just hanging out together. And bring out the toothbrushes or nail clippers, and they both want the attention! |
| A Star is Born. My love for Sport Goldens was set into orbit over 25 years ago, when gifted a field golden retriever puppy from an accidental breeding. Appropriately named in all ways, Comet came into our home, instantly commanding the spotlight… The Mischief. The Mayhem. The Happiness! While not technically a star, she was definitely star material! Comet’s energy level, willingness for engagement, determination to please and immense love to share… won me over. Forever. |  |
| Having grown up in a family with a long history of working Pointers, it was almost natural that I fell deep for Comet and her field golden traits. Several Golden Rescues followed, including one former hunt dog and an 8 month old puppy that I was able to train to competitive levels.  | Passing The Genes Forward. Through purposeful breeding with a long-time reputable breeder and consideration of OFA [Hips, Elbows, Eyes, Heart] and DNA testing, Dasher sired two amazing litters. His selection wasn’t based on his accomplishments, as he’s been handicapped by a very loving and devoted yet green Handler. He was chosen because of his amazing rock star temperament. All puppies are thriving and successful in performance sport homes, including this one. We brought home Dasher’s son out of Litter 2… the very buzzy Buzz! No Limits for this guy… To Infinity and Beyond!!! |
